****July 16(Sun)- Sanborn-Skyline State Park
Introducton: Explore the backyard of Saratoga. Visit the vineyards, barns, and the history from early Settlers. A lot trees, shades, and a scenic lake.

Place to meet: Saratoga Highschool Parking Lot. Address: 20300 Herriman Ave, Saratoga, CA 95070-4950
Driving Directions: Take freeway 17 south, Exit Highway 9 west toward Los Gatos and Saratoga. Stay on Highway 9(Los Gatos Saratoga Road) for about 4 miles. After passing Saratoga Ave. Turn right into Herriman Ave. High school is on your right hand side.

****July 29-30 (Sat-Sun)Yosemite - Half Dome
=-1>Introducton: Yosemite's most distinctive feature, Half Dome,
dominates the valley view. Half Dome rises 4,733 feet from the valley floor and at 87 million years old—believe it or not—is the youngest plutonic rock in the valley. A hike to the top of Half Dome provides the physically fit with a
strenuous walk, intimidating climb and rewarding view.

THINGS TO BRING: 3 meals, lots of water, cotton gloves and flash light.
*** It is wise to pack for any season with clothing that can be "layered", ready to peel off or add on as the thermometer dictates. Always include some kind of rain gear. ***
Itinerary:
- 7/29 8:00 - Car/vanpooling to Yosemite
- 7/29 PM - A short hike up Yosemite Fall
- 7/29 - Night staying at Curry Village
- 7/30 7:00 - Leave for Half Dome
- 7/30 19:00 - Back to Valley and drive home
